Speeding truck rams van carrying wedding guests, 9 killed in Rajasthan

Nine men were killed when the van they were traveling in was hit by a speeding truck in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, on Saturday night, police said.

The 10 people were returning from a wedding in Khilchipur, Madhya Pradesh, when the accident occurred.

Three of the men died at the scene and six others died while being treated in hospital.

After the accident, the driver of the truck fled the scene but was later detained.

The police are questioning him. Further investigation is ongoing.
