A Spanish priest has been arrested on suspicion of illegally selling Viagra from his home. The unnamed man was detained along with another man on suspicion of selling the drug as well as “other powerful aphrodisiacs”, British Broadcasting Corporation the report said.
The man was arrested in Spain’s western Extremadura region and has appeared in court charged with criminal offences. The priest’s lawyer told local media the accusations were baseless.
Spanish news media reported that the man was arrested in the town of Don Benito after a months-long investigation into the priest and another man for allegedly selling controlled substances.
