A South Korean woman suffered cardiac arrest after falling from a bungee jumping platform and died on the spot.according to independentThe incident occurred on February 26. The woman, who is in her 60s, has not been named. She fell from an 8-meter-high platform to the concrete floor after trying bungee jumping at a sports facility in Starfield Anseong shopping mall in Gyeonggi Province.
Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police believe the bungee cord came off because the carabiner cable that connects the rope to the beam or cane is defective. Police are still investigating the case and more details are expected to be released soon.according to exitCurrently, the police are paying attention to whether safety measures are implemented.
The woman was wearing safety gear at the time of the incident. However, the carabiner (a safety hook) was not secured. She was immediately taken to hospital where doctors tried to revive her. But unfortunately, she did not survive the fall and was pronounced dead an hour after her fall.
