Sophie Ellis-Bextor paid tribute to the victims of the 2015 Paris terror attacks, which killed 90 people, before singing “Murder on the Dance Floor” at the Bataclan concert hall.

“So to pay homage to that spirit, and to pay homage to everyone who has ever danced at the Bataclan, this is Murder on the Dance Floor.”

“Murder on the Dance Floor” surged in popularity after it was featured in the closing credits of Emerald Fennell’s film “Saltburn” – A dark satire about the super rich.
