Sony PlayStation 5 Slim launched today, Blinkit delivers in just 10 minutes

Indian fast commerce company Blinkit has now promised to bring the new PlayStation 5 (PS5) Slim to the doorsteps of gamers. The move comes as the new Sony PS5 Slim is launched in India and goes on sale today at 10 am (IST), and the company aims to leverage Blinkit’s 10-minute delivery service, usually used for grocery stores, to make it Easier access to and other household items.

PS5 Slim ships on Blinkit

Blinkit is another service that Sony India seems to be partnering with to sell the PS5 Slim in India, besides being available on retailers and e-commerce platforms. The console will go on sale today (April 5) at 10am.

It will be sold in two versions – PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, priced at Rs. 54990 Rs. 44990 respectively. Blinkit promises that after ordering, customers will receive the PS5 Slim within 10 minutes.

This isn’t the first time Blinkit has brought new popular electronics to your doorstep. In 2022, the Zomato-owned company started iPhone 14 delivery service, where after ordering through the Blinkit app, the iPhone will be delivered to your doorstep within minutes. Last year, it partnered with Apple reseller Unicorn to offer 10-minute delivery services for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, both of which are made in India. Blinkit is also currently offering fast delivery on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series launched earlier this year.
