Slack launches GIF finder to make communication easier; know where to access this feature

Slack is one of the most commonly used communication tools for businesses and teams. It eliminates the need to email or make phone calls for most things within a team. Now, the communication tool adds a new GIF feature to make working among team members fun. While emojis have long ruled the popularity charts, GIFs have become increasingly popular for sharing emotionally charged and dynamic views and opinions. Slack integrates GIFs

Slack officially announces integration of GIFs into their tools via X postal. The GIF finder feature will enable users to select the perfect GIF from various options. Slack’s new GIF feature is powered by Tenor, now a GIF search engine owned by Google. It will provide users with millions of GIFs that they can share to express their emotions and feelings. Now, Slack users will have an easier way to share GIFs than the previous GIPHY feature. To find GIFs on Slack, open a specific chat and click on the emoji icon, where you’ll find the new “GIFs” tab. You can use what popped up earlier, or you can search based on the type of emotion you want to share. The new feature will allow users to scroll through thousands of GIFs from the integrated Google GIF search engine. The feature is very similar to other messaging apps, such as WhatsApp with integrated GIF functionality.According to ZDNet Report, the Slack GIF Finder is now available and will be available on all your devices by the end of the month.
