Baramulla, May 09: On the instructions of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, Cabinet Ministers, Sekena Itu and Javed Ahmed Dar, today visited Frontier District Baramullah and took stock of the situation due to cross -border shelling.
During the journey, the ministers visited the GMC Baramulla and questioned the recent wounded citizens in the incidents of shelling. He expressed solidarity with the injured victims and their family members.
The ministers directed the medical staff of the hospital to provide immediate and effective treatment to the injured citizens. He assured the victims and their family members that the government is standing with them in these difficult times and we are committed to their good.
Later, the ministers also visited the URI and evaluated the spots of various areas affected by the ongoing shelling. They met the affected families and directed the authorities to prioritize civil security and ensure fast rehabilitation efforts of the affected families.
The ministers also met the grieving family of Nargis, who was a young woman killed during the ongoing shelling. He expressed condolences to the affected family and assured him of all possible support and assistance from the government. Meanwhile, the ministers visited the Deputy District Hospital Uri and met the injured citizens. He directed the hospital administration to be available adequate medical care stock in the facility to deal with any kind of exhibition.
Later, ministers also visited the GDC URI and met the victims of the rehabilitated cross border shelling in the college building. The ministers urged the administration to keep all possible facilities available for the victims and ensure that basic requirements are available for their good. He instructed the administration to keep enough doctors and medical staff available for their regular checkups.
MLA Uri, Sajjad Shafi; MLA Sopore, Irshad Rasol Kar; Senior proposals of District Administrative Administrative Administrative Malamulla and other related proposals were also with ministers during the visit.
