Shannen Doherty, Rick Salomon reminisce about ‘wild’ wedding

Shannen Doherty and Rick Salomon took a trip down memory lane and reflected on their marriage.

“I think we were married in 2002, January. I just saw it. “I would never have thought otherwise,” Doherty, 53, said during the Monday, May 6, episode. Let’s be frank with Shannen Doherty podcast.

“And we got canceled in May 2003. So technically we don’t have to call each other ex-wife and ex-husband because we’re canceled, but we still do.”

Doherty, who remembers how “very quickly” they got married, confirmed to Salomon how long they were together before they got married.

“Three weeks?” he said, to which Doherty replied, “Was it only three weeks? No, it was longer than that. No way.”

Doherty recalled a conversation she had in the car with Salomon, which was actually when they decided to get married.

“And we did just that. We went to Vegas. And I had a witness, you had a witness. And then I told you, ‘I can’t get married without my father and my mother.’ And you say, ‘If we’re going to do it, we’re going to do it now,'” Doherty said, noting that her parents eventually rose to the occasion.

“That was wild. Like was this normal for you? “It seemed strange to me.”
