Demi Lovato returns to Met Gala 8 years after calling it ‘fake’

Demi Lovato seemed to back down from her hasty statements about the Met Gala after 8 years and appeared at the star-studded 2024 event in a silver Prabal Gurung gown.

Eight years ago, in 2016, the singer participated in the event, and her experience wasn’t great.

“This photo pretty much sums up our first and probably last meeting,” the “Camp Rock” star wrote.

“This one celebrity was a complete bitch and she was miserable to be around. It was very sticky. I remember being so uncomfortable I wanted to drink,” she reflected on her experience in an interview two years later.
