Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan director Atlee releases clip from Astra Awards, thanks superstars for supporting the film; Watch

Director Atlee, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone and others on the hit film Jawan, attended the ASTRA Awards in January. He shared some key moments from the event on social media. The filmmaker also thanked Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan for trusting him with the film. The awards ceremony will be held on January 6, 2024 at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

Atlee shared a throwback video of him and wife Priya at the awards show on Monday. The director wrote in the caption: “Thank you Astra Awards @hollywoodcreativealliance #jawan❤️Thank you @iamsrk sir @gaurikhan mom @redchilliesent, my team, @priyaatlee.” Check out the video:

The video shows Atlee and his wife posing for photos in front of the ARTRA Awards backdrop and chatting with the media on the red carpet. Atlee looked dapper in a sharp tuxedo, while Priya opted for a stylish white outfit.

“Jawan” was released on September 7 this year and stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone. The film received positive reviews from critics and was widely loved by everyone. Celebrities like Karan Johar, Allu Arjun, SS Rajamouli, Kangana Ranaut, Sidharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff and Ameesha Patel also expressed their love for Shah Rukh Starring Shah Rukh Khan expressed his appreciation. cJawan has a global circulation of more than 11 billion rupees.

Currently, Atlee is fully focused on his Bollywood debut “Baby John”, an action-packed drama remake of his 2016 Tamil hit “Theri”. The film, co-produced by him, is written and directed by Kalees and stars Varun Dhawan in the eponymous role. The star-studded cast includes Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, Sanya Malhotra (in a special appearance), Sheeba Chaddha and Rajpal Yadav. There are numerous reports that he may team up with Ram Charan and Salman Khan for his next two projects.
