A drug dealer from Cheshire took a selfie while sitting in a dentist’s chair and sent it to his criminal associates.

Little did he know that this seemingly insignificant act became their ticket to jail.

Cheshire Police carefully pieced together the puzzle to identify Khan Golgoulu and his associate Giovanni Spada. After completing the investigation, the police arrested Khan Gorgulu on May 15, 2021. British Broadcasting Corporation the report said.

A jury at Chester Crown Court found the 23-year-old mafia kingpin from Wilmslow guilty of dealing drugs including cocaine and cannabis. Khan was sentenced to six and a half years in prison by the court.

His 37-year-old criminal partner was sentenced to six years in prison in October after admitting his involvement.

Detective Inspector Sam Needham expressed satisfaction with their sentences, saying: “Our investigation has shown that both Spada and Gorguru were leaders of organized crime syndicates who derived significant amounts of money from criminal activity. “

“However, this case makes it clear that crime doesn’t pay – both men were taken to court to be held accountable for their actions and, despite Gorguru’s efforts to deny his involvement, both are now behind bars ,” he added.

The pair sold drugs to wealthy people in Alderley Edge, a town frequented by famous footballers. They did so from January 2021 to February 2022. Police investigations allege they bought the drugs from various parts of the UK, such as Rochdale, Essex and Wales, and then sold them to locals.
