Jammu, 16 August: The Chashoti area of the district installment was killed and in view of the Cloudbers under the supervision of Secretary Health and Medical Education, the Directorate of Health, Jammu (DHS Jammu), Dr. Saeed Abid Rashid Shah has introduced emergency medical reaction measures to help the affected people.
Director Health Service Jammu Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar arrived on 14 August on Kishtwar’s Pader and began a coordinated response to provide immediate medical care and assistance to the victims. Administrative Secretary H&ME also reached the padders on August 15, so that medical aid facilities could be overseen.
In many medical teams, doctors, paramedical staff and emergency health workers were deployed in the affected areas. These teams are working around the clock to provide medical assistance to the injured and affected families.
A fleet of a fully equipped ambulance has been deployed to ensure timely transfer of important patients in nearby health institutions for advanced treatment. Emergency medical camps have also been set up near the affected area with essential drugs, first aid and trauma care facilities.
DHS Jammu has been working in close coordination with the district administration and SDRF/NDRF teams for the last three days to ensure easy healthcare support during rescue and relief operations. Chief Medical Officer Installment Dr. Rajinder is helping to provide medical support to the needy people.
The victims and the attendants of several NGOs have appreciated the sharp action taken by the Health Department, which has helped reduce the mortality rate.
