FCS & CA, Transport, IT, Youth Services and Sports, Minister of Satish Sharma, today, today in Genderbal district, Hazrat Mian Nizamud Deen Kianvi (RA) on the eve of 129th annual Urs of RA, where he paid obedience and contacted the local deity and Shri management.
The minister reviewed the facilities being provided to the pilgrims to the pilgrims. He accepted the important spiritual and cultural significance of Baba Nagari in this region.
As a major attraction of his journey, the minister inaugurated a dedicated JKRTC bus service, connecting Baba Nagari, Kangan from Rajouri to TRC Srinagar. The move was aimed at improving access to devotees from far-flung areas, especially in the Pir Panjal region.
Members of Parliament, Mian Altaf and local MLA, Mian Meher Ali, besides JKRTC officials and officials were present on the occasion.
“Baba city holds a special place in the hearts of thousands of people in Jammu and Kashmir. By starting this bus service, we aim to strengthen inter-regional connectivity, promote religious tourism and reduce the burden of travel to devotees,” the minister said while addressing the gathering.
He emphasized that the government led by Umar Abdullah is committed to rapid development of religious and remote areas. He assured continuous efforts to improve road connectivity, transport infrastructure and public facilities in the region.
The bus service along with Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) has been operational, supervising logistics and root planning.
The journey ended with the minister and the representatives of the community to discuss further developmental needs in the area.
