Reports about any time on Indians traveling to Saudi Arabia are wrong. The Saudi government has not issued any notification on the matter, the sources confirmed.
As clarified by official sources, during the Haj season, temporary sanctions are applied to short-term visas to regulate the flow of pilgrims and avoid congestion- a standard measure that ends with the closing of Haj.
Meanwhile, showing the success of the system of Haj pilgrimage, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated King Salman bin Abdulziz Al Saud for the smooth and safe conduct of this year’s pilgrimage, which accepted the efforts that enabled millions to perform their Rarte.
He admitted to the Saudi leadership and graceful care of the Saudi leadership and his institutions, holding the success of the Haj season for his commitment to provide spiritually full and safe experience for all worshipers.
Expanding similar greetings, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum, vice -president, Prime Minister, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the President, also congratulated the Saudi Emperor.
In this context of international goodwill and regional cooperation, Indian pilgrims also participated in sacred rituals, attending millions in the performance of Vukwaf-e-Arafat, the spiritual climax of Hajj, India’s embassy shared on Thursday in Riyadh.
Strengthening this, the Indian Embassy wrote on X, “Indian pilgrims today join millions of other pilgrims, who perform the main rituals of Vukwa-e-Arafat, Haj in Arafat today.”
Sharing updates from the ground, Consol General Fahd Suri extended the greeting in a video message and confirmed that all Indian pilgrims had arrived safely in Arafat, exposing the coordinated efforts between the Indian Haj Mission and Saudi officials, exposing the safe and smooth journey, living and front of the pilgrims.
He appreciated the Haj and Umrah Ministry and Associated Service Providers for his tireless support and extended the desires for a blessed Eid-ul-Aadha and a successful Haj for all pilgrims.
These developments reflect strong India-Saudi Arabian bilateral relations, which are in centuries old economic and cultural relations. The annual Haj pilgrimage serves as a major aspect of this deep root connection.
Earlier this year, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Saudi Arabia, the Indian side thanked the people shared between the two countries, underlining the bonds of the people, thanked the state’s care for 2.7 million Indian citizens living there.
The Government of India also appreciated Saudi Arabia for the successful organization of 2024 Haj and accepted excellent bilateral coordination in making Indian Haj and Umrah pilgrims facilitated. (AI)
