Sarah Ferguson has expressed support for Kate Middleton after her battle with cancer.

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife took to Instagram on Monday to express her admiration for the Princess of Wales, who was diagnosed with an undisclosed cancer last week.

She noted that her actions would greatly raise awareness of the disease and hoped she would be given “the time, space and privacy to heal.”

Sarah’s announcement comes after she herself was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, which she announced in January.

“All my thoughts and prayers are with the Princess of Wales as she begins her treatment,” the Duchess of York wrote in a statement. “I know she will be surrounded by the love of her family and everyone is praying for her best. good result.”
