Samsung on Wednesday launched new Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and OLED TV models in India. The new product portfolio offers multiple AI-integrated features and is available in different display sizes from 55 inches to 98 inches. The Samsung Neo QLED 8K is the most premium product in the series and runs on the NQ8 AI Gen 3 SoC. The processor includes a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to provide an improved visual experience. The Neo QLED models feature the company’s Motion Xcelerator gaming technology.

Samsung Neo QLED 8K price in India starts at Rs. 3,19,990, while the Neo QLED 4K model starts at Rs. 1,39,990. Prices of Samsung’s OLED range start from Rs. 1,64,990.
As a special launch offer, Samsung said it will offer a soundbar worth Rs. Customers who purchase the new 2024 Smart TV range can enjoy $79,990 at no additional cost. They also have access to music frames worth Rs. 29,990 and a Freestyle projector. 59,990, depending on model, until April 30. The company is also offering 20% cashback depending on the model.
Samsung Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and OLED TV specifications
Samsung’s new Neo QLED 8K smart TV comes in two models: QN900D and QN800D. They come in screen sizes of 65 inches, 75 inches and 85 inches. Neo QLED 4K is available in QN85D and QN90D models, with 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch and 98-inch display sizes to choose from. Samsung OLED TVs are available in S95D and S90D models, with screen sizes of 55 inches, 65 inches, 77 inches and 83 inches respectively. According to the company, the S95D and S90D feature glare-free displays.
The new Neo QLED 8K TV series is equipped with NQ8 AI Gen 3 processor with NPU, which is said to increase the number of neural networks eight times from 64 to 512 compared to the previous generation of Neo smart TVs. On the other hand, the Neo QLED 4K TV and OLED TV run on the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor.
The Neo QLED 8K series includes various AI functions such as AI Picture Technology, AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro, Real and Depth Enhancer Pro, AI Customization Mode and AI Energy Mode. It also uses Samsung’s AI sound technology to detect background noise and automatically adjust the volume. AI Auto Game Mode recognizes games and genres and automatically adjusts image quality and sound quality settings.
Samsung’s Neo QLED 4K series is said to have the world’s first Pantone-verified TV display with color accuracy and Dolby Atmos capabilities. OLED TVs support refresh rates up to 144Hz and have features such as Motion Xcelerator.
All new models come with Samsung TV Plus, a free streaming service with more than 100 channels. They have built-in IoT hubs that allow users to control their smart home devices. They offer smart mobile connectivity that allows viewers to use their smartphones to connect to universal remote controls for TVs and connected home appliances. They also have a three-star Knox safety.
