Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to be officially launched together with Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the second half of this year. It is speculated that the Korean giant will use both Qualcomm and Exynos chipsets in its next foldable phone this year. Amid these rumors, a Galaxy Z Flip 6 purportedly equipped with a custom Snapdragon chipset appeared on the Geekbench website. This high-end SoC with higher clocked cores and higher clocked GPU already powers the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra.

A Samsung phone with model number SM-F741U was spotted on the Geekbench website. The listing is believed to be for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, showing number 15,084 Vulcan Score and 14,325 OpenCL Fraction. Vulkan and OpenCL tests confirmed the presence of an octa-core CPU with a base frequency of 2.26GHz and a peak frequency of 3.40Ghz, and an Adreno 750 GPU. These CPU speeds and GPUs are relevant for Galaxy’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform.

The listing shows that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes with Android 14 operating system and 6.75GB of RAM. This could theoretically be converted to 8GB. The listing is dated April 17, first Discovered by SamMobile.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S24 Ultra with the same custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform as the Galaxy SoC, with overclocked CPU and GPU cores. The regular Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ also use the same chipset in some markets.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the Unpacked event in Paris in July. It is said to feature a larger display than the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and can offer a 120Hz refresh rate instead of a 60Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be available in 8GB or 12GB RAM options and 256GB or 512GB storage. It is available in light blue, light green, silver and yellow. It is said that this foldable product supports 25W charging.
