The Samajwadi Party on Saturday announced the names of six more Lok Sabha candidates from Uttar Pradesh. This is the party’s fifth list of nominees in the seven-phase parliamentary elections.

The state has sent 80 MPs to the lower house of parliament, where votes will be held at all stages.

Socialist Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday called on party workers to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections and said India’s future would be decided by the polls.

The six candidates are Dharmendra Yadav (Azamgarh), Mahendra Kumar (Gautam Buddh Nagar), Manoj Kumar Rajvanshi (Misrikh), Bheem Nishad (Sultanpur), Jitendra Dohare (Etawah) and Narayan Das, the SP said in a post Ahirwar(Jalaun).About X.

After Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav resigned from the assembly after being elected as MLA in the 2022 Assembly elections, his cousin Dharmendra was elected in the by-election to Azamgarh seat Dharmendra Yadav became the candidate of the party. He was defeated by Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua of the BJP.

Dinesh Lal Yadav polled over 3.12 lakh votes, Dharmendra Yadav polled over 3.04 lakh votes while Guddu contested on behalf of the BSP Guddu Jamali received more than 266,000 votes. Jamali recently joined SP and is currently MLC.

According to a statement from the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav told party workers: “The people are ready to save democracy by defeating the BJP. We have to defeat the BJP through PDA (pichhrhe, dalit, alapsankhyak).” He said that this election is also a touchstone of democracy, so everyone must start campaigning today. Akhilesh Yadav also claimed that crime and corruption reached their peak during the BJP tenure.

The BJP is in power at the Center and in Uttar Pradesh. Most of the scams took place during the BJP rule and the party president claimed and alleged that the ED, CBI, Income Tax department were used to implicate people in false cases and defame opposition leaders.

He also alleged that the government was bragging by claiming that the development work done by the SP during his tenure in the state was its own or had the names changed.

Akhilesh Yadav said that following the divide and rule policy of British India, the BJP was trying to spread hatred and division in the society.

The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister alleged that the BJP’s agenda is to spread communalism.

He said that the BJP is “the most cowardly party” and “it is afraid of public anger, which is why the BJP transcends all limits of power” and claimed that the BJP can do anything to gain power.
