Srinagar, June 11, KDC: Minister of Health and Medical Education, Minister of Social Welfare and Education, Sekena Itu today organized a surprising inspection of Government Girls High School (GGHS) Drugzan Dalagate and assessed school functioning.
Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. GN Itu; CEO Srinagar, Zeeo Nishad and other officials also accompanied the minister.
During the journey, Minister Sekena took a detailed round of school premises, inspected classes, computer labs and other infrastructure. He also interacted with the students and took feedback from them about the quality of education in the institute. He also encouraged the students to focus on their studies and urged school officials to identify and address any interval in academic performance and infrastructure.
Later, the minister held a brief conversation with the school staff and assessed the overall functioning of the institution, including teaching functioning, infrastructure, attendance records and availability of necessary resources.
Expressing concern over some shortcomings, Minister Sekena emphasized the need for a more strong monitoring mechanism to ensure timely educational distribution and favorable learning environment at the institute.
“Education is the cornerstone of a progressive society. We should ensure that our girls get quality education, adequate support and modern facilities to flourish in every field and field of life,” said the Minister Sakna.
He appreciated the dedication of teaching staff and asked for new efforts to uplift the educational results, especially in the government -run educational institutions. (KDC)
