Russia says Ukrainian drone strike hit fuel facilities

Russian officials reported Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Moscow and several regions in western Russia on Tuesday.

Orel Region Governor Andrei Kreichov said a drone crashed into a refueling facility, causing a fire but causing no casualties.

A Ukrainian drone also struck the Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine, knocking out power to some people, according to the region’s governor.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said Russian air defense systems destroyed a drone flying towards the Russian capital. He reported no damage or injuries from falling debris.

Officials in the Tula and Kursk regions also reported that Ukrainian drones were destroyed in those areas on Tuesday.

In Ukraine, authorities issued aerial warnings to several regions overnight.
