Rubina Dilaik recalls her babymoon with Abhinav Shukla: ‘We talked a lot about the future’

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are in the happiest phase of their lives. He recently embraced parenthood and welcomed twin baby girls. In a heartwarming announcement, they shared the names and meanings of their daughters, Jeeva and Eadha.

While expecting, Rubina Dilaik started hosting her own chat show, where she shared interesting tidbits about her pregnancy journey. In a recent episode, she delighted fans with details about their month-long babymoon in Los Angeles.

“Babymoon, enjoy all you want. I will enjoy what I want to enjoy. For me, traveling is exotic travel and he loves adventure travel. So Abhinav and I had our own babymoon. I had planned my thing. I wanted to go to a concert, go on a cruise, travel to cities by road, taste different cuisines. So I made a whole list,” she said.

He further added, “The idea was not to do everything. The idea was that the journey outward should first begin inward. I wanted to set a path for us (the kids)…that’s how I like to travel. This way I can travel freely. It’s like a connection. I have made a conscious effort to make this connection. No one told us this, but we can also do things differently.

The new mom explained that investing in travel is a powerful tool. She highlighted that it is not necessary to go abroad for a babymoon; Instead, it’s about spending quality time with your partner. Throughout their journey, Rubina and Abhinav engaged in an in-depth discussion about their future.

Regarding this babymoon, Rubina had earlier shared that she has taken time out for herself. They visited LA, where they enjoyed the most relaxing time. This was the period that he dedicated to understanding this new phase, dealing with the challenges and becoming aware of the possibilities that were opening up for him.

Rubina and Abhinav tied the knot in June 2018. After five years of marital bliss, the deeply in love couple revealed their pregnancy on September 16, 2023. The new parents in the city welcomed their twin daughters on November 27.
