Britannia bullion bar range consists of four security elements, the first of which is latent imagination that serves as a hologram. When the bar is rotated, the image turns from paddalk to the trident.
The second feature involves micro detailing, which creates the illusion of rolled waves behind Britannia figures because the bar turns.
Micro text is another feature, with an inscription reading: “desus at tutamane” (“one ornament and a safe”) around Britannia, is designed using expert lease.
The fourth feature are tincture lines, which reflect colors and patterns on the metal.
The bars are also preserved by additional layers of safety, including tampering-proof packaging and a UV watermark and a serial number.
