The principal school of Rosedel Heights School of Arts will remain till his retirement next year After a backlash from students.
Students and employees were told earlier this year that their long -term principal, Barry sketches, in their 80s, would be transferred to the Harbord Collegiate Institute for the next school year.
Sketchle founded Rosedale Heights as an Arts School 33 years ago.
In June, hundreds of students with solidarity went back to protest against the verdict.
Now, the Toronto District School Board has announced that the sketch will remain in Rosedale Heights until 2026 retires in June.
Superintendent Jennifer Chan’s statement said, “Principal sketches for students, families and employees have shaped the school identity, and we are ready for a wonderful school year under the continuous leadership of the principal sketchle.”
Another principal, Joseph Gasibe, will also be included in the administrative team as “centrally assigned principal – transition” to help students and employees support and select system initiatives related to transition.
