Rome closed due to 'mechanical issue', 'Refruiting TBD

Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) on Monday shut down unexpectedly due to “mechanical issues”.

In a social media post on Monday morning, ROM reported to be closed to visitors and pre-book tickets will be automatically returned.

Citynews arrived at the museum for more information, and in a statement, he said, “Morning -morning, the museum identified an issue with a small part of the security sprinkler system … We are working to solve it as soon as possible.”

It is not clear when the museum will open again at this time. The museum’s media relationship team said that updates will be shared as soon as they become available.

He said, “We want forgiveness to inconvenience, and we are ready to welcome visitors on another day,” he said.
