The official jersey of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 is here and the launch video shows a stylish entry at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala. Sportswear brand Adidas took to social media to reveal a glimpse of the official jersey and in the video, Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma was seen with his teammates Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja. There were rumors about possible leaks regarding the jersey design but fans on social media were thrilled with the launch and most of them expressed their anticipation for the tournament.

KL Rahul, Rinku Singh and Shubman Gill were prominently omitted from India’s squad for the World Cup, while veteran spinner Yuzvendra Chahal made a sensational comeback to the national team.

While Gill and Rinku got a place in the reserves, KL Rahul was completely ignored as the selectors decided to go with two wicket-keeping options who can bat in the middle order – Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson.

Shivam Dubey’s inclusion in the squad was a surprise after impressing both fans and experts with his explosive batting for Chennai Super Kings.

There were some questions over Hardik Pandya’s place after a disappointing IPL 2024 campaign but the selectors decided to show their confidence in him by handing him the vice-captaincy for the competition.
