Rogers Communications Ink says it has introduced a new satellite-to-mobile text messaging service, the first wireless provider to offer the next generation technology to Canadian people.

Rogers says that when customers are associated with Rogers satellite, they can send a lesson in Rocky Mountains, Text 911, if stranded on a remote highway, and even join with loved ones on the southern coast of Hudson Bay or a Gulf of St. Lawrence.
“We are proud to introduce this ground-breaking technology to help Canadian people stay safe and connect in more places,” said Rogers President and CEO Tony Staffieri.
With new technology, Rogers says it now exceeds 5.4 million square kilometers in Canada – 2.5 times more square kilometers more than any other Canadian wireless carrier.

“This new technique represents the next major jump in wireless connectivity. We pride in Abhinav I to continue our legacy and add Canadian to more places,” Staffieri said.
In terms of how it works, Rogers Satellite uses low-earth class satellites and Rogers National Wireless Spectrum.
“Wireless spectrum ensures that this technique works on most modern smartphones. The company will continue to test and adapt the Rogers satellite services during beta testing,” a company said.
Communications company can also give a free beta test to Canadian people, who want to use Rogers Satellite, which will initially support text messaging and text -to -911 and then expand to support applications, data and voice services including 911 voice services.
The beta trial will end in October, and after that point, Rogers Satellite will not be included without any additional cost to customers on the Rogers Ultimate Plan. It will also be available for all Canadian people for $ 15/month.
