Rod Stewart has cancelled his upcoming Geelong concert due to a sudden illness.
The veteran British entertainer announced only via social media, disappointing and angering his Aussie fans who were looking forward to a multiple support line-up, including Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens at Mount Duneed Estate.
No further detail was given on the singer’s health.
The estate has played host to several major acts, including Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Robbie Williams and Fleetwood Mac.
