OJ Simpson, born Orenthal The cause of death of James Simpson has been revealed two weeks after the athlete and actor died at the age of 76.
According to news outlet TMZ, the former Heisman Trophy winner lost his life due to prostate cancer.
News of Simpson’s death was announced by his family on social media on April 10.
“He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. “During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect his wishes for privacy and grace,” he shared on X.
According to Page Six, the former NFL star was spotted spending time in Las Vegas two months before his death. Now the deceased was seen without his stick.
Another news outlet reported that Simpson was diagnosed with prostate cancer the same month he was out. The former athlete had at that time denied any news of him being hospitalized in such a condition.
“Hospice! Are you talking about Dharamshala?” he laughed off the rumors in a clip shared to X.
“No, I am not even in the hospital. I don’t know who put it there.”
According to Page Six, Simpson also revealed preparations to host “a ton of friends” for a Super Bowl LVIII watching party that weekend.
