Putin says Russia has no intention of invading Poland, Latvia

Putin made the remarks during a two-hour conversation with American television host Tucker Carlson.

Moscow:

Russian President Vladimir Putin said it was “impossible” for Russia to invade Poland or Latvia, telling US talk show host Tucker Carlson in an interview released on Thursday: “We have no interest at all” in expanding the war in Ukraine.

“Can you imagine sending Russian troops to Poland?” Carlson asked in the interview.

“There is only one scenario, if Poland attacks Russia,” Putin responded, adding: “We have no interest in Poland, Latvia or anywhere else. Why would we do that? We don’t have any interest at all… .This is absolutely impossible.”
