Prince William hits back at ‘teary-eyed’ Prince Harry after King Charles honors announcement

Prince William went public and teased his teary-eyed brother Prince Harry about his new role after King Charles announced the honor he will be given.

For those unaware, it has been claimed that the Duke was emotionally affected by the incident, as he began to cry.

The Prince of Wales was all smiles today during his visit to Cornwall, where he is scheduled to visit both Newquay and the Isles of Scilly over the next two days.

The visit came after there was no reunion of William and Harry. Speaking last week, an insider told the Mirror: “Their relationship is extremely broken. Harry has expressed his desire to sit down with his brother in private but now is not the time.”

Harry also did not meet his father King Charles during his stay in Britain due to the monarch’s busy diary. At the service yesterday, Harry was supported by members of his late mother Princess Diana’s Spencer family, including his uncle Charles Spencer and aunt Lady Jane Fellowes.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Prince Harry became emotional when King Charles announced a new honor for his older brother Prince William this week while the Duke of Sussex was in London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games , as per the Mirror report.

After confirming that King Charles will not meet Prince Harry, Buckingham Palace announced that the King will hand over to the Prince of Wales a military honor that has long been considered for the Duke of Sussex.

Prince William is now Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps – the regiment with which Prince Harry served in Afghanistan.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn exclusively told The Mirror: “King Charles’s announcement that Prince Harry is being removed from his role as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps will be a shock for his son. Real jerk who always felt marginalized and underestimated.

“What’s even worse is that the role is being given to the same person Harry considers the cause of many of his problems – his brother. And the announcement was made deliberately to make maximum impact during Harry’s brief visit to the UK “It shows Harry that he’s really not welcome anymore.”

Mr Quinn claimed senior royals “knew” the announcement would “really hurt” Harry, before revealing he “is said to have cried when he heard it”.

He added: “But they have decided that the gloves have been taken off and Harry needs to realize that when you betray the family, you don’t just get away with the things you do as a working royal. You also lose the things you loved.”
