Prince Harry’s popularity drops in new country of residence

Prince Harry has been warned against permanently settling in the United States amid declining public interest in the royal family.

Towards daily expressRoyal expert Andrew Lownie reflects on the shift in public perception of Meghan and Harry since they moved to the United States in 2020.

He said: “The royals have always liked the US. They feel freer there. There is less scrutiny on them, they have more support in the US and people like the British royals and are prepared to overlook some of their faults.”

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to make the United States their new home after stepping down from royal duties, they received a warm welcome, however, “interest in Harry’s story was waning,” Mr Lowney claimed.

The author of “The Traitor King” states: “[Harry] Now has no role in the royal family. This just confirms what we all knew.

“Of course he would be happier in America. He kind of cut himself off in England, and so did she, so he had no choice but to stay in America,” he added.

It comes after it was revealed the backup writer had changed his official residence to the United States on official records after being evicted from Frogmore Cottage last year.
