Prince Harry may have a surprise in store for his estranged and “anxious” brother Prince William as he returns to the UK in May.

Royal biographer Richard Fitzwilliams said the brothers have long been embroiled in a royal rift that has worsened over the past few years and that they may have an opportunity to “resolve the rift”.

Previously, royal author Tom Quinn said that William and his wife Kate Middleton were already “very nervous” if Meghan followed Harry during his visit to the UK.

He also predicted Mirror Harry and William may hold a brief meeting during their visit to the UK, similar to the meeting Harry held with his father, King Charles, who has cancer, in February.

Meanwhile, Fitzwilliams told sun “The best way to resolve a rift, if it’s to be resolved at all, is to do it privately,” especially in the wake of Charles and Kate’s health crisis. “Even if there’s a deep family rift, this is a huge game changer.”

The author shared that “the Sussexes can throw surprises in the spring,” and “you never know what’s going to happen in the coming weeks or months.”

“Two very senior members of the royal family are very ill and you can’t really predict what will happen,” he said, adding that Harry would not do anything “without Meghan’s consent.”

Quinn said William already had a lot of responsibilities to do and he had to do “a lot of planning” for Harry’s visit, adding to his stress.

It remains to be seen whether Harry will come to the UK with his family and whether his meeting with William will become a reality.
