Prince Harry in ‘tremendous pain’ over loss of mother, Princess Diana, Kate Middleton

It’s understood that Prince Harry deeply missed his unprecedented connection with Kate Middleton before Meghan Markle came along.

The Duke of Sussex was close to his now estranged sister-in-law, even describing her at one point as “the sister I never had.”

However, things took a turn for the worse when Kate and his wife Meghan refused to get along despite their shared roles in the royal family.

talking MirrorRoyal expert Tom Quinn said Harry “really misses the warm, simple relationship and is torn between his devotion to his wife and his regret at losing the woman he was so close to.”

He went on to explain: “Losing Kate was Harry’s second major loss after losing his mother.”

After leaving the royal family four years ago with the “Suits” cast, Harry expanded on his behind-the-scenes relationship with Kate and Prince William in his memoir “Backup,” making shocking accusations that seemed to hurt them.

However, the Princess of Wales’ cancer diagnosis has once again caused the royal to re-examine things and he is said to regret his behavior towards her.

The unbeaten Games mogul is expected to try to mend relations with the Welsh family during a visit to the UK next month.
