Princes William and Harry tried their best to put on a brave face as they endured a daunting ordeal at King Charles’ wedding to Camilla Parker-Bowles.

The couple tied the knot in a relaxed event on April 9, 2005, nearly eight years after the death of Prince Charles’ ex-wife and mother of his son, Princess Diana.

Body language expert Judy James analyzes the true feelings of the now-estranged brothers, who do their best to hide behind the guise of royally trained smiles and nervous gestures.

“Few stepchildren would dig as deep as Diana’s two devoted sons who attended their father’s wedding to Diana’s nemesis Camilla,” she told sun.

“To their credit, they suppressed a lot of negative emotions for the sake of their father and the need for family unity.”

The expert noted that while both Harry and William failed to hide their emotions through body language “leakers”, the former was “pretty bad at it” [it]” in photos from the ceremony.

“He and Harry struck a mirrored pose like fig leaves, suggesting unity, but their spacing seemed telling,” Judy explained in analyzing the official wedding portrait.

“It can be smaller moments when the mask slips,” she noted, noting the Duke of Sussex’s “unhappy, disturbed expression” and the future king’s “scowl that almost suggested tears.”

In the years before Charles and Camilla ascended the throne, William developed an unexpectedly close relationship with the Queen.

Meanwhile, the Spare author still harbors a grudge against the former Duchess of Cornwell, whom he described as a “villain” in his memoirs.
