Uttarakhand PM: 'Our troops are eliminating terrorists from their turf'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the country’s security forces, under the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government, are neutralizing homegrown terrorists.

Addressing an election rally here, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘Modi government again’ (The Modi government is again) getting a lot of attention across the country because people have seen the benefits of a stable government.

He said: “As long as the government of the country is weak and unstable, enemies will take advantage of the opportunity and terrorism will spread. But under the strong Modi government, our troops are eliminating terrorists on their own turf.” “

Their anger at the prime minister reached a fever pitch when he said he had stopped corrupt elements from looting the country.

Prime Minister Modi said the “weak” Congress government in the past was unable to strengthen border infrastructure. Now, roads and modern tunnels are being built in border areas, he added.

He said this was necessary to fulfill India’s commitment to a developed country and a developed Uttarakhand state would become an important part of India.

“But my expectations are bigger this time. You have to break all the past records. You have to win all the booths,” he said.

“I am confident that the people of the state will teach the Congress a lesson in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls,” he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s anger at him reached a fever pitch after he said his government had stopped the looting of corrupt elements.

He said that the Uttarakhand BJP government led by Pushkar Singh Dhami is making continuous efforts to achieve the target of becoming the leading state by 2025.

Rishikesh, where the rally was held, falls under the Haridwar Lok Sabha constituency. Chief Minister Dhami, Haridwar candidate Trivendra Singh Rawat, Trigarhwal MP Malla Rajya Lakshmi Shah and Pauri Garhwal candidate Ani Al Baruni shared the podium with the Prime Minister.
