Prime Minister Mark Carney prepared to visit birthplace in NWT

Fort Smith – Prime Minister Mark Carney is ready to stay in the city where he was born as he travels in the northwest regions.

Carney also spent his early childhood at Fort Smith, which was located south of the Yelonife along the Alberta border, before he moved to Edmonton with his family.

He is determined to talk to the locals in Fort Smith about the ability and food insecurity, and before going into the inuvic in the north -western corner of the region, discusses the forest fire with community leaders.

He is ready to co-condemn the Inute-Crown Partnership Committee with Non Oed, the president of Inute Tapirit Kanatami on Thursday, a national organization that represents Inute.

This will be a second meeting of Carney with indigenous groups on the bill of major projects in Ottawa.

This law will provide the ability of fast-track projects to be held in the national interest by meeting some review requirements to Ottawa.
