You’ve got to love Donald Trump…he’s strong day to day, year to year, and even decade to decade.

When he says something to you, you can take it to the bank that he means it and he’s going to follow through.

And I have a nice new example to show you, from a video clip I’d never seen before, but a quick glance led to finding it and posting it online.

This is Donald Trump in 2016 telling the world during the 2016 presidential campaign how he was going to build a beautiful new ballroom in the White House – and he even offered to build it for Obama for free and he “never heard back.”

Look at this!

Donald Trump:

And every time the top guys come from China, they’re so big, you know, beautiful—
They pitched a tent on the White House.

We don’t have a ballroom in the White House.
By the way, I offered Jerry several years ago to build a ballroom in the White House for free – a $100 million ballroom.
I said, “We’ll get the top five architects in America.
We’ll get the top people, the top in everything.
We’ll have the best ballroom,” because I noticed they always set up tents on the lawn.

Number one, it’s not a good security thing.
Number two, the guy with the tent is making a lot of money, right?
This poor guy, I mean, he’s making a lot of money.
All he needs is a tent, and he charges them a lot—he’s making a lot of money.
Ok. But I said, “I’ll build a ballroom.”

I gave it to Obama – I actually told David Axelrod, a nice guy, you know, a very capable guy.
I said to David Axelrod, “David, I’ll build a ballroom, at least $100 million, for free.”
We will make it the best ballroom in the world.
We’ll put it in a place where it works contextually, brilliantly.
It will be done. We will form committees.”

I never heard back.
I never heard back.
You know, it’s one of a thousand things.
I mean, if someone gave me a free ballroom, I’d take it.
We will place it in an area that will look great.

But, you know, we don’t have a ballroom in the White House.
