Prakash Raj promotes critically acclaimed Kannada film photos

Prakash Raj, known for his versatility and commanding presence on screen, is set to launch Kannada film ‘Photo’, which sheds light on the challenges faced by migrant workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown. The struggle faced.

Prakash Raj, who is undoubtedly one of the best actors in the industry, recently revealed his decision to support the release of the critically acclaimed Kannada film. The actor took to his official Twitter to share the message that he is proud to showcase the photos taken by the talented young team. His tweet read: “Proud to present ‘Photograph’, a film made by this young team that is very relevant to our times. I am sure you will support us on this journey…”

The film follows the harrowing journey of a father and son who are forced to travel across the city of Bangalore to return home. “Photo” has already attracted attention at several prestigious film festivals, including the Bangalore International Film Festival, where it was rated the second best Kannada film and received critical acclaim. Additionally, the film was screened at FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) in Pune, Habitat Film Festival in Delhi and NITTE International Film Festival in Mangalore.

“Photo” is directed by Utsav Gonwar in his directorial debut and features an ensemble cast that includes Mahadev Hadapad, Sandhya Arakere, Jahangeer and Veeresh Gonwar. The film is produced by Utsav Gonwar and Fakirappa Bandiwad under the banner of Masari Talkies. Rai Hiremath is handling the music of the film, Dinesh Divakaran is the cinematographer and Shivaraj Mehu is the editor. According to reports, the manufacturer is preparing for its official launch in March this year.

Utsav Gangwar’s directorial talents further cemented the anticipation for Photo when he won the Best Director Award at the Bangalore Kannada Film Festival organized by Satyajit Ray Film Society.
