Ahead of Congress’ ongoing ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ reaching Kanpur, Congress leader Sandeep Shukla on Wednesday put up hoardings portraying Rahul Gandhi as Lord Krishna and state party chief Ajay Rai as Arjun from the epic ‘Mahabharata’ I went.
Hoardings were put up across the city on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters, Mr Shukla said he sees Rahul Gandhi as the modern incarnation of Lord Krishna.
“His objective is clear, just like when Lord Krishna countered the hostility of the Kauravas towards the Pandavas during Dwaparayuga. At that time, Lord Krishna appeared to spread love. In the same way, our leader Rahul Gandhi started spreading it. He has pioneered the message of love and brotherhood in this Kaliyuga. Today, he is coming to Kanpur to spread love and unity everywhere. I see him as an incarnation of Lord Krishna,” Mr Shukla said earlier in the day. Was.

Earlier, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh had said that the party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ would be stopped between February 26 and March 1 in view of the election-related meetings in Delhi.
“There will be a break from February 26 to March 1 as there are many important elections-related meetings in Delhi and it is important for Rahul Gandhi to be present there,” Mr Ramesh told ANI in Lucknow on Wednesday.
He told that the yatra will resume on March 2.
He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ‘misleading’ the country by calling the current times ‘Amrit Kaal’. He said, “The real issue is that the Prime Minister is misleading the country in the name of ‘Amrit Kaal’. We are saying that the last 10 years have been the ‘period of injustice’. Thousands of youth are committing suicide due to unemployment. PM says ‘Modi’s guarantee’. But when Modi’s warranty ends, then what is the point of Modi’s guarantee (it is going to end, what is the use of Modi’s guarantee?)” said the Congress leader.
Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra entered its 39th day on Wednesday. The journey is currently in Lucknow.
