10 people injured in blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday said there appears to be a link between the blast at popular eatery Rameshwaram Cafe in the city and the 2022 cooker explosion in the coastal city of Mangaluru and all aspects are being looked into. Police.
He said the government is committed to a fair investigation, and the police have been given a free hand to investigate the incident at the quick service eatery in the Brookfield area of the information technology corridor in east Bengaluru, in which ten people were injured.

Talking to journalists here, he said that police officers from Mangaluru and Shivamogga have also come here and all aspects are being looked into.

Noting that the government is very serious about investigating the blast incident and there is no question of anyone being spared, the Deputy CM said that it is a matter of pride for the state.

Regarding the treatment of the injured, Mr Shivakumar said instructions have already been given to the joint commissioner of the Bruhat Bengaluru Municipal Corporation (BBMP), adding, “We will take care of their bills.”
