44 year old Shikundi Tati is accused wearing wigs and women’s clothes To reach the locker room and film the other gym members, before changing his disguise and fleeing the scene.
Photos shared by police showed the suspect wearing a long black wig and sunglasses and a face covering, as well as a hot pink hooded sweatshirt.
On October 10, officers from the Montgomery County Police Department Reply to One Life Fitness Club In Germantown, reports said an unknown suspect entered the women’s locker room.
A woman claimed that the man had recorded her in the shower. According to police, after an extensive investigation the man was identified as Tatty of Takoma Park.
Police said that during the investigation it was determined that Tatty would disguise himself as a woman in order to gain entry to the women’s locker room.
Police said that after the crime, he would disguise himself and flee the scene in an attempt to hide his identity.
On Wednesday, October 29, police said, officers followed Tatty to Planet Fitness in White Oak, where he was in the women’s locker room disguised as a woman.
He was taken into custody and taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, and has since been charged with multiple counts.
Detectives are concerned there may be additional victims and are asking them to come forward.
