Police Operations SIM vendors Inspection of SIM SIM to curb misuse of Handwara

In a decisive step to misuse and increase public safety of SIM cards, the police in Handwara conducted a comprehensive district-wide inspection of SIM card vendors. The purpose of the drive is to ensure strict compliance with the prescribed guidelines that control the sale and activation of SIM cards.

A police spokesman said that during the inspection, police teams fully followed their customers (KYC) norms, proper documentation procedures and safety measures against the unauthorized issuance of SIM cards. All vendors were investigated to ensure their operations to comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Recognizing SIM vendors, an important role in protecting the communication network, the police urged them to carefully follow the KYC protocol. He was warned that any violation would cancel the license under relevant laws and invite strict legal results including prosecution.

The general public has also been encouraged to be vigilant and release SIM cards and report any suspicious activity or irregularities related to use. This active initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the overall security and security of the community.
