Police attach the property of handler in Pakistan in Kupwara

Srinagar, July 09: Police said on Wednesday that Jammu and Kashmir Police in Sogam Kupwara has seized properties related to a Pakistan-based Kashmiri terrorist handler in Sogam Kupwara and accused Terror Outfits Hijubul Mujun (HM) and the top commanders (HM) of the Kashmir Police in Sogam Kupwara.

In a statue, the police said that the accused were Ghulam Rasool Shah, aka Rafia Rasool Shah, son of Abdul Jabbar Shah, originally a resident of colleague Mohalla Chandigam Lolab. Shah, who is currently working from across the border, is actively involved in organizing terrorist activities in the region for many years.

The spokesperson further said that 5 kanals were attached as part of legal action and 3 Marlus of Land of Peer Mohalla Chandigam under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act [UA(P)A]Property attachment is connected to FIR number 276/2022, which is registered at the police station Kupwara, including fees under 120B, 121A, 122, 123, 123 and sections 17, 18, 18A, 18B, 20, 38, 38, and 40 UA (P) A of IPC.
