Police arrests suspect through facial identification system in Anantnag

In an important success, the police in Anantnag successfully captured a suspected man identified as Munib Mushtaq Sheikh, a resident of Malik Mohalla Drangbal Pampor, son of Munib Mushtaq Sheikh. The arrest was made after detecting the suspect in the X-ray point, the X-ray point through the facial identification system (FRS) established by J&K police.

On finding out, the person was immediately taken into custody and transferred to the police station Pahalgam for further verification. After this interrogation was found that Munib is involved in Mushtaq Sheikh’s case, FIR number 28/2021 registered under 28/2021, 20, 20, 20 of the illegal activities (prevention) Act 20, 20, 20 [UA(P)A] And Section 4/5 of the Explosive Materials Act of Police Station Pampore.
