Continuing its efforts to eradicate the danger of drugs from the society, the police have arrested a drug pedal in Baramullah and recovered the contradicted substance from its possession.
A spokesperson said that the police party of Police Station Kunjar headed by SHO PS Kunzer established a checkpoint at Utikoo near Bangal Public Education Institute. During the investigation, a person was identified as Naseer Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Habibullah Sheikh, a resident of Mohalla was stopped. On searching, a substance such as 12.5 grams of heroin- was recovered from its possession. He has been arrested and transferred to the police station, where he is in custody.
Accordingly, a case video FIR No. 73/2025 has been registered under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Kunjar and further investigation has been initiated.
