Srinagar, May 05: Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim, rather, visited the assembly premises in Srinagar today to review the functioning of various offices.
During his visit, the speaker inspected several sections inside the campus and interacted with the employees.
When reviewing the functioning of the offices, the speaker directed the employees to maintain the highest level of professionalism and regular appearance, in addition to ensuring early and efficient disposal of files.
Emphasizing the importance of the functioning of the smooth office in Srinagar, the speaker gave a detailed review of the necessary facilities, including the availability of potable drinking water and electricity. He also assessed the status of transfer of official records from Jammu, where a one -month budget session was recently held.
He urged the officials to ensure timely disposal of files besides the effective functioning of their respective departments.
The speaker was accompanied by Additional Secretary Legislative Assembly, Bilal Ahmed Bhat and senior officials of the Legislative Assembly, including Qazi Mushtaq Ahmed, Shabir Ahmed Wani, Mohammad Jamaluddin and Fayz Ahmed Ju.
