New Delhi, 19 September (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi resorted to social media to express his heartfelt praise for a prestigious Sikh delegation, which he had received to present the recommendations about the safe and dignified performance of the holy ‘Jore Sahib’ safe and dignified performance – a pair of holy footwear which has been given to Shri Guru Gobind Singh and Mata.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “I was very happy to receive the prestigious and skilled members of the Sikh delegation, who submitted their recommendations regarding the safe and unnecessary performance of the very sacred and invaluable ‘Jor Sahib’ of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jia and Meta Saib Kori ji.”
He emphasized that such remnants are not only central for Sikh history, but also integral for the cultural ethos of India, “The sacred remains will motivate future generations to follow the path of courage, righteousness, justice and social harmony shown by Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji”.
The delegation led by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri consisted of eminent members of Sikh Sangat, who have long protected the remains.
The Puri family was preserved by the Puri family for more than 300 years to more than 300 years for Guru Gobind Singh, a 3.5 -inch measuring 11 inches of ‘Jore Sahib’ and Mata Sahib Kaur.
Carbon tests were conducted by the Ministry of Culture to verify the authenticity and spiritual importance of the remains.
During the meeting, the famous singer Harshdeep Kaur offered a spiritual resonance on the occasion, and offered a intimate rendering of the Mul mantra.
PM Modi listened carefully as a mantra through the hall, covering his head in honor.
The Prime Minister’s tweet shows his constant engagement with the Sikh heritage and his commitment to preserve religious and cultural treasures. His gesture was widely appreciated by the community, in which the surrender of the government was dedicated to the inclusive cultural leadership.
As a public performance plan of ‘Jore Sahib’, the meeting is as a powerful symbol of reverence, unity and permanent heritage of Sikh Gurus in shaping India’s moral and spiritual clothes.
