Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (December 6) paid tribute to the architect of India’s Constitution, Babasaheb Ambedkar, on his death anniversary.
“Remembering Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas,” Modi said in a post on Twitter. His visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to justice, equality and constitutionalism will continue to guide our national journey.”
The Prime Minister said Ambedkar inspired generations to maintain human dignity and strengthen democratic values.
“May his ideals continue to light our path as we work towards building a developed India,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister also joined Vice President CP Radhakrishnan in paying floral tributes at the statue of Ambedkar at Prerna Sthal in the Parliament House complex.
