PM Modi called Ghulam Nabi Azad to inquire about his health, wished for quick recovery

Web Desk, 29/05/2025

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and inquired about his health after being hospitalized in Kuwait.

Azad is a member of the all-party delegation led by Azad BJP MP Baijayant Panda, who is visiting partner countries to highlight India’s policy of zero-oppression for terrorism.

PM Modi wished Ghulam Nabi Azad a quick recovery.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Azad said that he was recovering well.

“It is blessed to share that despite excessive heat in Kuwait, to impress my health, I am curing and recover well. All the test results are normal. Thanks to all of you for your anxiety and prayer – it really means a lot!” Azad said on Tuesday.

Bajayant Panda responded to Azad’s post and wished him to recover fast.

“This’s really amazing news! Wish you a quick recovery. We were touched by your hot Bonomi, and in fact in two countries praised your dedication to speak to India despite poor health through a fierce program in two countries,” he said in a post on X.

He also appreciated his contribution as a member of the delegation.

“Half the way in our delegation’s visit, Mr. @Ghulamnazad has to be hospitalized. He is stable under medical supervision, and will undergo some tests and procedures. His contribution to meetings in Bahrain and Kuwait was highly impressive, and he is recalling his appearance in Sodrid and Alji.

Congress leader Jeram Ramesh also wished Azad to recover fast.

Jeram Ramesh wrote on X, “To find out that one of the high-profile delegation members has been sent to the hospital’s story against Pakistani terrorism, admitted to a hospital in Kuwait.
