Srinagar, July 1, KDC: A Ph.D. The scholar of the Mathematics Department of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar has been selected to participate in the 14th Heidelberg Laurate Forum (HLF), which will be held from 13 to 22 September, 2025 in Heidelberg, Germany.
Mr. Sameer Ahmed Wage, Assistant Professor in Mathematics Department. Rameez is following his doctoral research under the supervision of the king. His selection for this prestigious platform holds him among only 200 young researchers worldwide, chosen through a highly competitive process.
The Hyedelberg Lawrett Forum is one of the most prestigious events in the fields of mathematics and computer science. It offers a unique opportunity for top young researchers and PhDs. Students have to interact with the most reputed International Awards Awards including ABAL Award, ACM AM Turing Award, ACM Award, ACM Award in Computing, Fields Medal, IMU Abacus Medal, and Nevnlinna Award.
The entire journey, including international travel, housing and participation costs, will be fully sponsored by the Hydelberg Laurat Forum Foundation. HLF is a networking conference, where 200 carefully selected young researchers in Mathematics and Computer Sciences interacted with the award winner of The Shislines with a week: Abel Award recipient, AM AM Turing Award, ACM Awards in Computing, ACM Awards, Fields Medal, Emu Abacus Medal and Navanline Award. Established in 2013, HLF is conducted annually by the Heidelberg Laurite Forum Foundation (HLFF).
It was launched by the German Foundation Claus Tachira Stiftung (KTS), which promotes natural science, mathematics and computer science. Inspired by providing an opportunity to interact with bright young minds to interact with their scientific role model, physicist and SAP co-founder, Claus Tsachira (1940–2015) prepared the basis for the stage for the forum.
On May 22, 2012, a formal agreement between the organizers and prize-handed institutions was signed in Oslo and the next year the Headelberg Lauret Forum Foundation Foundation was formally established. (KDC)
